From March 3 to 6, a government delegation from Kyrgyzstan visited Saint Petersburg on a working visit. The main goal was to get acquainted with how modern IT solutions work for megacities, in order to create an information and analytical system for the Situational Center of the President’s Administration in the future. The intermediary in the technology transfer is the Central Asia Capital private equity fund.

The Kyrgyz Republic was represented by the director of the Situational Center of the President’s Administration of the KR, Azat Ibraimov, the first deputy minister of digital development and innovative technologies, Nursultan Kubanov, the chairman of the board of directors of the Central Asia Capital fund, Anton Sobin, and his advisor, Abdyraim uulu Shabdan. Officials from the Committee on Informatization and Communications and the Committee on External Relations of Saint Petersburg participated in the meetings.

The program of the trip was built around getting acquainted with existing smart systems. In Smolny, a number of technological projects were presented to the delegations, including the "Geoinformation Platform," "Digital Assistants," and a monitoring system using UAVs.

To understand how these technologies work in real life, the delegation also visited two key infrastructure sites in the city:

— City Monitoring Center (St. Petersburg State Budgetary Fund "GMC")
— Integrated Control Center for Urban Economy

Kyrgyzstan plans to use the presented smart city solutions to develop its own digital management system.
