The investment fund Central Asia Capital presents a project to create the first national car plant in Kyrgyzstan, where the car "Muras" will be produced. The project was initiated by the fund, with AO "AvtoVAZ as the technological partner. The launch of the plant is an important step towards diversifying the country's economy, reducing dependence on imports of used cars, and creating a brand that will become a true symbol of Kyrgyzstan.

Strategy and Development Stages

The development of the strategy for the creation of the national car plant was fully supervised by Anton Sobin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Central Asia Capital. He became the initiator of the project and the author of its name "Muras" — a symbol of Kyrgyzstan's heritage, reflecting the country's aspiration to develop its own automotive industry.

The project is planned for 10 years and will be implemented in stages:

  • Stage 1 (2026-2030): Large-scale assembly, production of up to 1,500 vehicles per year.

  • Stage 2 (2031-2035): Medium-scale assembly, expansion of the model range, production of up to 5,000 vehicles.

  • Stage 3 (after 2035): Full production cycle, production of over 7,000 vehicles annually.

Model Range and Availability

The "Muras" plant will produce:

  • Passenger cars, popular models from AvtoVAZ: Granta, Vesta, Largus, Niva, Iskra.

  • Commercial vehicles and special models for medicine and the social sphere.

The base price of the car is $10,400 with a possible reduction of 15% in the first three years due to support from the Russian Federation.

Economic Impact for Kyrgyzstan

The project will bring significant benefits to the country's economy:

  • Contribution to GDP: up to 1% by 2035.

  • Job Creation: up to 12,000 new positions.

  • Tax Revenues: more than 500 million soms annually.

  • Reduction of Import Dependency: development of local production.

Government Support

The project has received support at the level of government agencies. This includes the involvement of high-ranking officials such as the first deputy chairman of the Kyrgyz government Daniyar Amangeldiev, who has taken personal control of the project. Additionally, support from the Russian government is anticipated in the form of tax benefits, land allocations, and leasing programs for vehicles produced in Kyrgyzstan.

Export Potential and International Cooperation

By 2031, it is planned to export up to 3,000 vehicles annually to Central Asian countries and the Balkans. The project was highly appreciated at the VII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum in Bishkek and received recognition in Russian government circles.

The "Muras" Project — A Symbol of a New Era for Kyrgyzstan

The "Muras" car will not only be a vehicle but also a symbol of a new era for the country. With it, the country will take a step towards creating its own national brand, which will be a source of pride for all Kyrgyz citizens and will embody the aspiration for progress and prosperity.

The "Muras" project by Central Asia Capital and AO "AvtoVAZ is a strategically important step towards updating Kyrgyzstan's vehicle fleet, creating jobs, and implementing new technologies, which will significantly impact the country's economy and its long-term development.
