Chairman of the Board of Directors of Central Asia Capital, Anton Andreevich Sobin, gave an exclusive interview on the air of the program “In the Center of Asia” on the channel “Russia-24”

Together with Robert Francov, the host and chief correspondent of the regional bureau of VGTRK, Anton Andreevich visited the construction site in Tokmak, where the construction of a new industrial park has begun.

Anton Sobin noted that this is where the foundation of the national automotive industry will be laid based on the technologies of the Russian AvtoVAZ. According to him, industrial parks significantly lower the entry threshold for investors, accelerate the launch of production, and contribute to the development of industrial cooperation, which is given special attention in the EAEU.

In the interview, Anton Sobin talked about the history of the creation of Central Asia Capital, emphasizing that all the fund’s projects relate to the real sector of the economy and are based on ESG principles, which is fundamentally important. The strategic goal of the fund is to achieve an indicator equal to 2% of the Republic's GDP within the next three years.

Particular attention in the air was paid to the attractiveness of Kyrgyzstan for Russian investors. The host of the program noted that the CAC today acts as a linking element between the region and Russian business.

Anton Andreevich emphasized the historical and cultural closeness of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, as well as the importance of investments in human capital. Among the priority areas of the fund's activities are the development of education, cultural, and social initiatives.

As part of the partnership with RANEPA, a Higher School of Business of Central Asia with an MBA program was opened in Kyrgyzstan; students are provided with scholarships and internships, computer classes are opened in rural schools; annually, children’s homes receive assistance. The fund has restored the memorial to Ivan Panfilov, a series of commemorative stamps “Kyrgyzstanis – Heroes of the Great Patriotic War” has been issued – and this is far from all the initiatives.
