Direct dialogue with the government: a green light for IT projects in Kyrgyzstan

In Kyrgyzstan, a clear outline has been established for large investors. Bureaucratic barriers have been minimized, and the government is open to direct partnership with private capital in the technology sector.

Yesterday, February 26, Anton Sobin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the investment fund Central Asia Capital, held a working meeting with Azamat Zhamangulov, the Minister of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan.

At the meeting, the ministry awarded the fund with a certificate of honor for its contribution to digitization.

For us, this is not just an award, but a clear signal to investors: our key projects — the industrial park in Tokmok, the national super app, and AI development — receive support at the state level.

But the main thing at such meetings is the next steps.

The fund, together with the ministry, is moving to the active phase of establishing the National Center for Artificial Intelligence. It will become the core of a new large-scale IT cluster covering 42,000 square meters. This area will house a business incubator and a modern IT college.

Capital in this project is reliably protected: political risks for the fund's investments are insured by the export credit agency EKSAR, which is part of the VEB.RF group.

We are not just financing startups. Together with the government, we are creating an environment and infrastructure in which large businesses can grow safely and comfortably.
