The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, held a strategic session on the development of Russia's foreign economic activities. He outlined the priority task until 2030 — to increase the country's non-resource exports by 67%.
The politician noted that in this process, Russia relies on Central Asia — the region will be the main supplier of goods through global transport corridors. Cooperation between countries is already underway within the framework of the project "International Cooperation and Export," with Kyrgyzstan being the most active participant.
"The Kyrgyz Republic plans to become the main transport hub in Central Asia. Last year, we launched the Central Asia Hub platform, which will help Russian (and not only) companies localize production, receive tax benefits, and enter international markets.
However, cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia does not stop only at industry and logistics. For example, in October 2025, our foundation, together with RANEPA, launched the first business school of the MBA program. And in March 2026, we are opening the Higher School of Public Administration. Both initiatives are aimed at transferring expertise to the managers of Kyrgyzstan,” — commented on the events Anton Sobin, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the investment fund Central Asia Capital.
More details about the cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia and the prospects for the region's development are in the video.
