On May 30, 2025, a delegation from the Russian Federation arrived on an official visit to the Naryn region.

The delegation included:

  • Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation for interregional and cultural ties with foreign countries, Igor Venediktovich Maslov,

  • his deputy, Anton Lvovich Rybakov,

  • representatives of the apparatus, Vladimir Andreyevich Balobaev and Anastasia Viktorovna Vasilenko,

  • third secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic, Denis Mikhailovich Dombrovsky,

  • and also shareholders of the investment fund Central Asia Capital — Anton Andreyevich Sobin and Andrey Yurievich Stepanuk.

The delegation was accompanied by the governor of the Naryn region, Altynbek Kaldarovich Ergeshov.

The focus of the visit — education and humanitarian development

The purpose of the visit was to familiarize themselves with the current initiatives in the field of education and to support humanitarian projects in the region. During the trip, the delegation visited the Karybek uulu Akmataaly school, where, with the assistance of the investment fund Central Asia Capital, a ceremonial opening of a new computer class took place.

Center for Russian-language Education in Naryn

The Karybek uulu Akmataaly Secondary School in the village of At-Bashy is one of the leading centers of Russian-language education in the region. Since 1987, it has established itself as a progressive institution that implements modern teaching methods. It is headed by a graduate of Siberian Federal University, Kushtarbek Kubanychbekovich Sharshenbekov.

Today, more than 2410 children study here, including preparatory groups. All subjects are taught in Russian, which makes the school attractive to parents seeking quality education. With the growing number of students, the school faces a shortage of equipment, furniture, and technology. Despite this, it continues to develop and remains a flagship of Russian-language education in the region.

The Digital Classroom — The First Step towards Systemic Support

The key event of the visit was the ceremonial opening of a new computer classroom. The opening took place with the participation of representatives from the Central Asia Capital fund, Anton Andreyevich Sobin and Andrey Yurievich Stepanuk, the head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, Igor Venediktovich Maslov, and the school administration. This was the first step in systemic support for the institution and the development of digitalization of education in the region.

After the ceremonial part, a working meeting was held with the school director, where further needs were discussed. The discussion included the necessity of projectors, interactive panels, school furniture, and office equipment. The representatives of the Fund confirmed their willingness to continue collaboration and provide assistance in the future.

Words of Support and Plans for the Future

Speaking before the teaching staff, Igor Venediktovich Maslov emphasized the importance of the school's work in preserving Russian-language education in Kyrgyzstan and highlighted the role of partnership in the humanitarian sphere:

"We consistently support schools where education is conducted in Russian — this is part of our common humanitarian work. It is especially valuable that representatives of Russian business in Kyrgyzstan joined this mission through the Central Asia Capital Fund. With their participation, it was possible to open a new computer classroom — such a contribution strengthens trust and lays the foundation for future cooperation."

The fund's shareholders also emphasized that business should play an active social role and participate in creating opportunities for future generations.

"This is already the third school in two months — and we do not plan to stop here. Our task is not just to finance one project, but to build a consistent support system that will yield tangible results on the ground," said Anton Sobin.

"We see tremendous potential in the development of Naryn and other regions. Supporting education is not just a humanitarian mission; it is an investment in a sustainable future and the foundation for long-term economic growth in the country," added Andrey Stepanuk.
