The opening took place as part of the jubilee Issyk-Kul Forum named after Chyngyz Aitmatov. The event was attended by the State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic Arslan Koichiev, representatives of the Presidential Administration, the ministries of education, science and culture, the university leadership, international experts, and young scientists.
